gTIE designs neckwear that substitute traditional ties, necklaces and scarves for both men and women. Instead of traditional tie models, gTIE concentrates on exceptional choices of shapes and materials such as lace, leather, patterns, and embroidery. gTIE has two collections lines: Ready-made -collection, available at the gTIE web shop, and custom-made unique collection. Rock ‘n’ roll attitude is strongly present in both collections. In 2012 Jenni Ahtiainen was hired by Finland’s oldest tie factory Matex Oy to recreate traditional neckties in order to make them more attractive to a younger audience.
